154 Section 15 Maintenance WEISS Cement Stain Remover Even the most experienced hard landscaping contractor can accidentally stain and mark slabs with cement during the laying process! WEISS Cement Stain Remover is a post- construction product suitable for the removal of cement staining and residue from natural stone, brick and concrete surfaces. This clever product dissolves cement so it can be easily rinsed away. WEISS Cement Stain Remover is suitable for most types of granite, some types of sandstone, acid resistant man- made paving and flooring elements such as ceramic tiles and terracotta. Due to this being an acid-based product, it is not suitable for use on limestone, marble, some basalts and other certain sandstones. In contrast to products that are silicone or resin-based, WEISS Stain Protect Profi won’t become ‘tacky’ or result in patchy discolouration. When applied, WEISS Stain Protect Profi forms a transparent sub-surface barrier that still allows the stone or concrete to breathe. We still advise that regular cleaning is an invaluable part of your paving’s ongoing maintenance. If wine, cooking oil or other stains are spilt onto your paving, then treat it just like an indoor carpet – clean it up as soon as possible and the WEISS Stain Protect Profi Pavement Protection will prevent the stain from seeping into the stone. Keeping the areas relatively clear of leaves, dirt and other debris will help keep your paving looking fresh for much longer with minimal effort!
