Section 2 Porcelain Paving 29 With the EMPEROR®, Mijo and Maharaja porcelain ranges, common paving issues are no longer a concern. Your paved space will be frost, weather and acid resistant and won’t require sealing. Even spots of grease or red wine can be easily cleaned with water and a cloth. Produced using intense heat and pressure; porcelain has a similar structure to natural stone. With a 20mm thickness, EMPEROR is light enough for both indoor spaces and high-level balconies or terraces. EMPEROR tiles have slanted opposing sides, creating a ‘natural edge’ and replicating the natural joints of stone paving. Underneath the tiles push together, giving stability and making them resistant to cracked edges. The Mijo range is designed to suit external projects such as roof gardens and garden patios.
