A walling and building method steeped in tradition and heritage, Knapped Flint has been used across the South East of England as a walling material since the Roman times, and is still particularly common in places across Sussex such as Sussex, Kent and Essex.
There are many examples of knapped flint walling which are hundreds of years old and still look bright and clean. Demand for these durable and attractive stones is usually for restoring or repairing historic knapped flint walls, or for building new walls that have to match and blend in with existing architecture to comply with planning requirements.
In addition to the standard stock sizes, we can supply whole flints and a range of different quantities to suit your individual requirements and other colours are available on request.
