Heilan Roo holiday cottage is a stunning, contemporary property settled into the woodlands of Killiecrankie near Pitlochry.

The garden with custom-built waterfalls was designed and built by McQueen Landscapes using a range of CED Stone products supplied by our Scotland - Castlecary Depot.

Aggregate was used across the entire garden, a cheaper alternative to paving it gives a softer look and is more in keeping with the naturistic theme of the garden. Golden Quartz was chosen to add warmth to the garden. Large Golden Quartz rocks create a retaining wall where the levels change, functional and they look fantastic.

Slabby Sandstone Rockery has been used to build build raised beds, it's flat surface make this rockery perfect for stacking and building drystone walls. Larger pieces of Slabby Sandstone were selected by Accompanied by CED Stone, McQueen Landscapes selected a number of much larger Slabby Sandstone pieces at the quarry to be used for steps in the garden and leading up to the property.

And doing what they do best McQueen Landscapes created custom-built water features using Slabby Sandstone, Golden Quartz Rockery and Scottish Beach Cobbles.
