Perennial kicked off a series of show gardens, designed to celebrate the charities 180th anniversary, with The Perennial Garden at RHS Cardiff.

The garden designed by Irish designer Peter Donegan was designed as a space for entertaining, spending time with family and friends with an outdoor kitchen area and barbeque and raised seating area. A planted screen provided the backdrop to the garden and specimen trees and a choice mix of seasonal planting complements the hard landscaping. The garden highlights the importance of recognising and addressing poor mental health in the horticulture industry, inviting people to look beyond the polished exterior and imagine what challenges its owner, or creator, may be facing.

For this garden CED Stone Group donated our Alcantara Paving.

A first for Perennial at RHS Cardiff, a first for Burnham Landscapes at RHS Cardiff and a first for not only Peter Donegan but any Irish designer at RHS Cardiff the teams’ efforts were rewarded with a silver medal.
