This south-facing feature garden, part of Bord Bia’s ‘Easy Steps to Dream Gardens’ series, emphasizes the practical considerations for designing a family garden suitable for small children. The space is designed to accommodate both adults and children, allowing it to adapt to the family's changing needs as the children grow.
The split-level garden design includes three distinct zones: a patio with a vibrant raised bed made of weathered steel; a lawn bordered by a solid wall, perfect for playing ball; and a relaxed seating area towards the back. In this area, you'll find a playhouse with a green roof, a sandpit, and a shed that can serve as an office or storage space, or be transformed into a den as the children get older.
The garden features our Egyptian Limestone Paving and Setts jointed with Steintec tuffjoint ,Scottish Beach Cobbles, CEDEC Bronze and Schellevis elements.
