A nice scheme in Westminster with stone supplied by CED Stone from the EU and Scotland. This section of Saint John's Wood High Street is bustling and lively space with outside seating options and a great mix of restaurants, cafés and bars.

We were challenged to supply stone materials promptly to match the project time-lines. First deliveries were made within 5 weeks of orders being placed with final deliveries completed within 10 weeks.

CED Stone supply included our Desert Blend granite from Portugal which when quarried is a lovely blend of grey and beige tones. For this project we provided a flamed finish which changed the beige colours to the vibrant red, pink tones you can see in the final supply. The paving is 70mm thick in 300mm x 600mm units and the setts were supplied 150mm wide x 100mm deep x 250mm long. The Desert Blend accentuates the feel of the space and adds brighter and warmer colour tones.

We also supplied the dark grey Caithness Flagstone with the natural riven, top surface finish. The flagstone is quarried in the North of Scotland and then slabbed, cut to size and packaged at the production factory there. Our supply was for paving slabs with 70mm nominal thickness in 300mm squares. The riven finish is flat enough to present a comfortable walking surface whilst maintaining a really good natural slip resistance.

A successful project supplied on time, with the natural stone supply, really lifting the overall appearance and atmosphere of the street-scape.
