Perennial’s series of show gardens designed to celebrate the charities 180th anniversary, continued at Harrogate Flower Show with The Perennial Legacy Garden.
Each Perennial show garden has been designed to represent the work that Perennial do, and with David Wyndham Lewis being Perennial’s Major GiftsManager, his design represents the lifelong impact leaving a gift inyour will has on the people Perennial help. The design featured a flowing water feature supplied by Pots & Pithoi. A representation of life’s journey, the water ran over and around obstacles before reaching a still pool with a seated area for visitors to sit and reflect. Moving through the garden rare and special plants could be found and a wetland and marginal area was fed from the central water feature. The garden also featured artwork by London artist Jane Procter.
